The droplist doesn't actually show your legacy name, just the options for how to display it. In the droplist, the first option is blank - IOW don't show your legacy title. So if your character name is Luke, and you chose Skywalker as your legacy name, selecting the first option would have your nameplate just show: Luke The second option would have it show: Luke The Skywalker Legacy If you check the Display Legacy Surname box, the nameplate would show Luke Skywalker or: Luke Skywalker The Skywalker Legacy If you haven't chosen a Legacy name, the second option in the droplist will just say "LEGACY", and selecting that option would make your nameplate show: Luke Legacy And checking the Display Legacy Surname box would have no effect.
